🌿 A Lovely Little Adventure Close to Home Had the nicest afternoon today catching up with my old school friend - over 40 years of friendship! We had delicious lunch at Dobbies Garden Centre, then wandered along the Chirk canal for a 10,000-step walk. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the views never disappoint. Managed to capture some beautiful photos. Hard to believe this peaceful spot is only 30 minutes from Cynynion Uchaf. We also popped into The Poachers Pocket to check their menu, a lovely option for guests exploring the area. A Special Celebration Close to Home 🎉💛 A few weeks ago we celebrated a truly special milestone. My lovely mother & father-in-law organised their own most wonderful 80th birthday celebration at Rhydycroesau Village Hall, just down the road from Cynynion Uchaf. With 60 guests, live entertainment & the most amazing food, the hall was the perfect venue. It has a brilliant self-catering kitchen, plenty of tables, chairs & crockery - ideal for birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, or any special get-together with family & friends. A lovely surprise inside the hall is a beautiful hand-made tapestry of local homes… & Cynynion Uchaf is on it! Not many holiday homes can say they feature in local artwork stitched with love. 💛 Feeling so grateful for my in-laws. Without their lifelong hard work, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
