🎬 A very special week at Cynynion Uchaf Farmhouse ❄️ Last week we had the absolute pleasure of hosting the cast and crew of No Wake, who chose Cynynion Uchaf as the primary location for their short film; and what a week it was. From snow-covered mornings to late nights around the table, it was a privilege to see our farmhouse transformed into a working film set and to support such a dedicated, talented team. 🌿 A Lovely Little Adventure Close to Home Had the nicest afternoon today catching up with my old school friend - over 40 years of friendship! We had delicious lunch at Dobbies Garden Centre, then wandered along the Chirk canal for a 10,000-step walk. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the views never disappoint. Managed to capture some beautiful photos. Hard to believe this peaceful spot is only 30 minutes from Cynynion Uchaf. We also popped into The Poachers Pocket to check their menu, a lovely option for guests exploring the area.
